1940s Homer Laughlin rimmed bowls. These soft white ceramic bowls are decorated around the rim with light green garlands encircled by dots. This pattern was made in July 1940. In very good vintage condition. No major defects. One bowl has a couple small spots of discoloration due to age.
Measurements: 8 1/4" diameter x 1 1/2" tall
The Homer Laughlin China Company was established in Ohio the 1870s and moved operations to Virginia in the early 1900s where they remain today. The company was an incredibly popular and prolific pottery throughout the 20th century. Although the company is best known for its colorful Fiesta line, as you can see, they also produced countless other remarkable patterns. Homer Laughlin China Company is still in operation today under the named HLC Inc.

Calico is happy to offer shipping worldwide! Orders are processed within 2-3 business days from the date the order was placed. Transit times are estimated by carriers and may vary.
Calico is not responsible for lost, delayed or stolen packages. If an order is damaged in transit please take pictures of the package before opening. All issues, including damaged, lost, or stolen packages must be reported within 48 hours of arrival. Calico will do our best to help remedy the situation with you and the carrier. All packages will be insured through the carrier.
Local Delivery
Local delivery is available for customers in the Los Angeles area as well as select areas of California upon approval. Local deliveries must scheduled and delivery times may vary. Returns
Calico is glad to offer store credit for returns. If you wish to return an item please reach out to hello@calicocalifornia.com. All returns must be approved before any action is taken. We will issue a return label for approved returns. Please note both the original shipping cost and return shipping are not refundable. Returns must be received within 14 days of delivery.
Customers are responsible for the safe return of all items. Items must be received back in their original condition to be eligible for store credit. Store credit never expires.
If you received your item via local delivery please reach out to hello@calicocalifornia.com to schedule a pick up. Customers will be charged a handling fee in this case.

Below is a general object condition scale:
Pristine: Never used and/or in original packaging. No visual defects and in working order. May show age in some cases.
Excellent: Minimal to no visual defects. Structurally sound and in working order when applicable. Maybe show slight signs of age.
Good: Visual wear and/or defects but aesthetically whole.
Fair: Considerable wear and/or damage throughout. Significant damage/wear in one or more areas that compromises the piece.
God Awful: Don't worry, you won't find anything like that here.
